What should the minimum thickness of a headstone base be?

Is the minimum stone thickness required for a base/sub-base detailed somewhere elsewhere in the document? If not, what is the recommended thickness - for a base?

Bases/sub-bases are covered under the provisions for backstones. As per Table 1 — Minimum stone thickness, the specified minimum stone thickness (after polishing) for backstones is 150 mm.

However, as per Table 1 Note 2 – Backstones used to support headstones, structural kerbs, etc. should be sized to support the loads. Backstone thickness may be lowered to 100 mm after polishing, provided brackets are used to secure the backstone to the kerbing.
