A $2 million expansion of the Enfield Mausoleum has seen the release of "off-the-plan" single and double crypts.
Adelaide Cemeteries Authority chief executive officer Robert Pitt said the release would meet the growing demand for the above-ground sites.
"We put so much time and effort into finding a home and it's much the same when it comes to deciding on a final resting place," he said.
"Things like the view, style of memorial, surrounding space and where you are in terms of the mausoleum and crypt itself are all important factors people take into account."
Prices range from $16,335 for a single crypt to $48,994 for a premium double crypt, with discounts of up to 15 per cent being offered for off-the-plan purchases, until construction is completed in September.
