The Cemeteries & Crematoria Assoication of South Australia says its Monumental Masons Licencing System is now entering its fourth year. It was established by CCASA and the Monumental Masons Association of SA to ensure that all work, health and safety standards are met by masons undertaking work in cemeteries. The licensing system is designed to streamline the process for councils and cemetery authorities with the details of all licenced monumental masons published on the CCASA website.

Monumental Masons are licensed by CCASA to undertake masonry work in cemeteries.

The documentation required for licensing includes the following:

  • Public Liability insurance for $20 million
  • WorkCover Currency
  • White Cards
  • Load Shifting Certificates
  • WHS Policy Manual
  • Job Safety Analysis
