According to Nine News, the graves of Gallipoli Diggers and other Australian war veterans are under threat in South Australian cemeteries as 99-year contracts they were leased on begin to expire.

The Save the Graves lobby group told the Adelaide Advertiser more than 100 veteran graves, mostly from World War One, have been put under threat by South Australia’s policy of interment “renewal”, which means the graves can be reused once the lease is expired.
