gerringong cemeteryAs far as picturesque cemeteries go, Gerringong is about as good as it gets, and this weekend the stories of those buried there will be told by their descendents as part of a historical walk and talk.

Sitting on the Boat Harbour Reserve on the eastern edge of the town on the New South Wales South Coast, the cemetery has a stunning view of the coastline looking south, as well as a good view of the green mountains to the west.

To commemorate the first burial that happened on the site 150 years ago, the Gerringong and District Historical Society is holding an event at the cemetery this weekend.
