Two widows have fallen into their husbands' graves in two days, one fatally, in a cemetery in this town near Naples, police said Thursday.
A 75-year-old died after the marble lid of her late husband's tomb gave in Wednesday.
A 37-year-old was seriously hurt in a similar incident Thursday.
Both were cleaning the graves when the accidents happened.
Pompei, 27 km (17 miles) south of Naples, is the site of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD.
