THE vote was unanimous and after a successful second year of visiting the Lithgow cemetery for the Anzac Cemetery Walk members of the Lithgow and District Family History Society have decided the event will become an annual one.

The day started with morning tea, a brief talk and the National Anthem, along with Ode and the Last Post.

The walk followed 12 returned men and the history of the men were read out while a small bouquet of poppy and rosemary as well as a card was placed on their grave.

Some relatives of the fallen joined the walk this year to play tribute.
