    •Communicate effectively with Funeral Directors, Clergy, families and visiting members of the public
    •Mark grave sites
    •Excavate graves by hand and/or machine, full depth and reopens
    •Grave Shoring in accordance with safe work practices
    •Operation of excavator and backhoe and all other equipment and machinery required in the preparation of a grave for internment of the deceased
    •Backfill graves upon the completion of the Funeral Service
    •Prepare grave site prior to burial
    •Final clean-up of grave site after burial

    Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park is seeking a mature minded and well organised individual to join the Crematorium Operations Team.
    •Communicate effectively with Funeral Directors, Clergy, families and visiting members of the public 
    •Clean and prepare the chapel and cremation areas to the highest standard 
    •Clean and maintain all vehicles and equipment 
    •Competent in the operation of the cremators and the cremation process, machinery and equipment 
    •Competent in all paperwork requirements to complete a cremation 
    •Ensure all cremation equipment is operating safely 
    •Receive coffins and carrying out identification checks 
    •Operate cremation equipment making sure that cremated remains are identified and stored appropriately 
    •Placement of cremated remains in memorial gardens or niche walls 
    •Placement of commemorative plaques in memorial gardens or niche walls

Formed in March 2012, SMCNSW is responsible for the care and maintenance of Woronora Memorial Park (established in 1895) and Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park (established in 1893) and providing memorial services to the community.
