Beth is a Pastoral Care Worker and the author of the recently published nonfiction book ‘Rest Assured’.
The book is based on her personal experience with tragic losses of immediate family members and through supporting others in their times of need.
Those experiences forced Beth to learn about all the practicalities, and has driven her to assist other people through similar difficult losses of loved ones.
Rest Assured is an interactive, light hearted, and very informative resource dealing with a difficult topic. It is about options, choices and wishes, before, during and after your death.
Throughout the book there is humour, personal experiences, extensive information and resources to assist in numerous capacities.
Beth is currently employed as a pastoral care worker with Catholic Care for the Aged.
She has worked in the welfare sector for the last twenty five years, working in a Women and Children’s Refuge and a Coordinator of this service.
She has managed housing programs; a psychiatric rehabilitation program; unemployment programs and as a support worker for people who have mental health, physical or intellectual disabilities.
