There have been a couple of updates to the workings of the website that should make for better search results.

Searching the site

General searches, initiated from the search field at the top right of screen on  desktop PCs, should now return more results, particularly when searching articles and archive.

Don't forget you are able to select the types of resources you want to search from the "Advanced Search Options".

The "Advanced Search" form appears when the results of the initial search are displayed, or simply position the cursor in the search field and press the ENTER key. Currently you can filter searches by

  • Databases
  • Contacts
  • Users
  • Events
  • Attachments
  • Questions & Answers
  • Videos
  • Articles
  • Categories
  • Contacts
  • News
  • Feeds
  • Web
  • Links
  • Tags
  • Documents
  • Comments

For Business Directory Listings you should use its Search Listings options.

Full Indexing of Members Only Documents

Members Only Documents are now fully  indexed where possible; every text based documents will have most words indexed to assist searching.

Quick Index to Members Only Documents

A persistent list of links to documents that are frequently accessed has been provided. You can access it from the Members Only menu after logging in. There is also a link on the Gateway landing page that displays after you have logged in with your CCANSW member credentials.
