Cemetery Clients & their needs | Who are they and what do they want

Wednesday, 16 March 2022 | 9.00am - 1.00pm (AEDT) (AEST)

This intriguing four-hour, online workshop is vital for everyone with any level of responsibility for the welfare of cemetery clients.

Who are our most frequent clients?  What do they think, feel and want?  When and why do they visit?  What should they reasonably expect of management?  How do their needs change over time?  Unique Australian research reveals how the profile of most cemetery visitors differs significantly from that of the general population.  We need to know our clients, and they really want to be understood.

Religious & Cultural Beliefs & Practices

Wednesday, 13 July & Wednesday, 20 July 2022 | 9.00am to 1.00pm (AEST)

This fascinating online workshop, presented over two part days, is vital for everyone interested in delivering culturally appropriate cemetery services.

With religion a major factor in much cemetery use, cemetery practitioners require an effective understanding of the needs of their religious communities. This interactive program identifies dynamics of major religious groups within increasingly diverse Australia and explores a range of differing beliefs and customary practices played out in multicultural cemeteries.
